When Jack Bodenstein decided to build the tenth and final model in the Coventry Enterprise collection, he spent six months doing nothing but reviewing what the previous nine models had established, what each had solved, where each had pushed the house's knowledge of materials and finishing to a new boundary. The Signature Reserve is the synthesis of that review.

The 18k gold case carries a baguette diamond bezel, set by the same specialist responsible for the Black Diamond Reserve's stone work, using techniques developed specifically for the Coventry Enterprise standard. Baguette-cut stones at this level of precision require a setting approach that accounts for the rectangular geometry of each stone and the necessity that all channel edges align optically across the full circumference of the bezel. A single incorrectly oriented stone would be visible immediately under examination, and examination of this watch is what its owner will be doing for decades.

The skeletonized movement, visible through both the sapphire crystal and the exhibition caseback, was designed with the understanding that it would be continuously observed rather than occasionally glimpsed. The finishing standard applied to every visible surface of the movement is therefore the mirror finishing and hand-beveling that the house applies to its best movement work, extended to every component that might catch any angle of light from any direction. The hand-engraved rotor, gold with a naturalistic motif that Jack designed personally, rotates through an aperture in the movement plate. The engraving took eleven weeks.

Eight pieces were made. Eight pieces remain the total. The Signature Reserve will not be produced again. What exists is what there is.
